2.4 Clients may withhold or withdraw their consent, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., personal information necessary to deliver services or meet legal obligations). Withholding or withdrawing consent may limit the services we can provide. We will explain any such impact to assist the client in making an informed decision.

POLICY 3 – USING AND DISCLOSING PERSONAL INFORMATION

3.1 We will only use or disclose personal information for purposes identified at the time of collection or for purposes reasonably related to those purposes, such as:

  • To contact clients about products or services that may be of interest.


3.2 We will not use or disclose personal information for additional purposes unless we obtain consent.

4.1 If personal information is used to make a decision affecting the client, we will retain it for at least one year to allow the client reasonable access.

5.1 We will make reasonable efforts to ensure personal information is accurate and complete if it may be used to make decisions about the client or disclosed to another organization.


5.2 Clients may request corrections to their personal information by submitting a written request with sufficient detail to identify the information and desired corrections.

6.1 We are committed to protecting personal information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or disposal.


6.2 Security measures we follow include:

6.3 We will use appropriate measures, such as shredding printed documents or securely erasing digital files, to destroy personal information.

7.4 Requested information will be made available within 30 business days, or a written notice of extension will be provided if more time is needed.


7.5 A minimal fee may apply for providing access to personal information. Clients will be informed of any fees in advance.


7.6 If a request is refused, in full or part, we will provide reasons in writing and explain the client’s recourse options.
